Bipartisan Policy Center: Improving The Voter Experience Animated Video

The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) is a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit organization that sources ideas from across party lines to promote health, security, and opportunity for all Americans.

In 2016, BPC launched the first systematic voting line research project across dozens of counties in 11 states. As the largest effort to measure voting line data in US history, the project’s goal is to analyze where lines develop, and devise solutions to improve the voting experience for all Americans.

BPC partnered with LGND to create an animated video highlighting the work of this program to encourage local participation across the country.

Based on BPC’s research, LGND developed a script and storyboard, provided voiceover talent, and music. Our team designed custom illustrations to tell a visually engaging, data-driven story, and brought the video’s individual pieces to life through 3D animation.

Leveraging BPC’s existing branding, LGND was able to push creative boundaries, and the final aesthetic incorporated familiar colors and fonts with a decisively modern twist.

“BPC released a creative and fun video to accompany a report we released about fixing long wait times at polling places. Shout out to Matt Lockwood, Patrick Sims, and the rest of the incredibly talented team at LGND for producing such an amazing piece of work.”
